ADA MEADE, off slowly, closed a big gap steadily into a fast going and game second. ANNA MAY ran in closest pursuit to the stretch and tired in the final drive. DAREINGTON ran forwardly and gamely throughout. FRENCH COOK and GRETCIIEN G. showed speed, but tired in the stretch racing. SPELLBOUND forced or set a terrific pace trom the start, but tired finally and swerved to the inside rail in the final furlong. ARASEB ran a good, game raco and finished fast. RESPONSFUL came fast through the stretch and outstayed ALTAMOR for third place. The latter ran prominently to midway of the stretch aud tired in the final sixteenth.
