UNPROFITABLE AMERICAN SALES ABROAD. The consignments of thoroughbred stock from United States breeding farms which reached Buenos Ayres last November, will be the last to that market as the Jockey Club has closed all but some special races to native-bred stock. The prices realized at that sale were trifling, as compared witli those paid for desirable English and native horses: Dixiaiia Stud, Maj. T. J. Carson The stallions all English-bred. Scintillant. by Sheen. Ormi eaut, by Orme, Griffon, by Galopin. realized ,730 each; yearling colts averaged 0 and fillies 03; mares, with or without foals, ,430. Thirty-eight head averaged 30. Hlmendorf Stud. J. B. Haggiu Colts averaged 1911.sh30 and fillies 50. Forty-eight head averaged 00. Blue Itidge Stud, II. T. Oxnard Thirteen head, mares aud fillies, averaged 00.
