MISS MARJORIE began slowly, but, gradually improving her position 011 the far turn, finished with a rush through the last furlong and won going away. HUSKY also began slowly, but came through on the inside and finished fast. WOOLSPUN outbroke the others and drew away into a long lead 011 the baekstretch, but tired badly in the last quarter. POCOTALIGO ran well. HAZELTHORPE closed a gap and tired. ELLANETTH was sharply cut off at the start and went to her knees. Overweights Ellanotte. 1 pound. SECOND RACE 5 1-2 Furlongs. KING OF YOLO followed the leader closely until rounding the stretch turn, then moved up into the lead with a rush, but tired after disposing of the loader at the eighth post and barely won. BELLE MAWR closed up with a rush in the stretch and would have won in another stride after having swerved against the fence when her rider drew his whip at the eighth post. tJRANDISSIMO showed a good turn of speed in p.icimaking for a half mile and was probably a bit short. DREAMER took the lead quickly and showed a tine turn of sueed in pacemaking for the first five furlongs, but was tiring at the finish. BERTIS ran well, but was in close quarters all of the last furlong and was cut oil by PREMIER at the sixteenth post when the latter bored over to the rail PF.CBIVABLE finished fast and close up. MISSIVE quit badly after running prominently to the stretch VN ZEE showed speed. The winner, entered for , was bid up to ,100 and sold to G. Grav. The latter ran in close pursuit o the pacemakers to the stretch turn, where he disposed of ED KECK and, taking the load, made a game finish. CANOPIAN closed a gap and, finishing fast, outstayed the tiring ED KECK. The latter set tin pace to the final furlong, then tired. MIQUE OBRIEN made up ground and finished well.
