ROSE OF JEDDAII bored over to the inside soon after the start, but showed great speed, wore TOMM1E THOMPSON down in the last furlong and outgamed him in the final drive. The latter, a very rapid beginner, cut acioss to the inside and, setting a fast pace, was hard ridden all the way, but succmnled finally. STAR JASAMINE broke from an outside position and ran fast and gamely, but kept bearing over. SILAS GRFMP and MINCO JIMMIE both met with interference and ran well. COLONEL COOK showed speed, hut thed. RAGMAN ran in close and game pursuit of the pacemaker to the stretch turn, then began to tire, hut finished gamely. GUY FISHER sulked in the early running and closed a big gap, but was in a pocket at the end. CARLTON G. showed speed, but tired in the stretch racing. Overweights Milton B., 2 pounds.
