MEADOW REDUCES TRACK RECORD. Wade McLemores Consistent Mare Runs Mile and an Eighth in 1:51 at Juarez. El Paso, Tex., January 10. The largest Sunday crowd of the season was in attendance at Terrazas Park yesterday, the chief reature being the running of the Bavicora Handicap at one and an eighth miles, attracted one of the best fields racing here. The race was locally conceded to Injury, despite Ids heavy impost of 130 pounds, although Wade McLemores good mare Meadow was considered to have an excellent chance at the weights. The race resulted in a great disappointment so far as the favorite was concerned, being outpaced throughout. Meadow found no difficulty in winning and incidentally reduced the track record for the distance by four-fifths of a second, winning with comparative ease in 1:51 j. The remainder of the races were well contested and, although but one favorite succeeded in scoring, the winners were more or less well backed. Jockev J.
