RACING IS RESUMED AT JUAREZ. El Paso, Tex., January 28. Racing was resumed at Tcrrazas Park today under the most favorable weather conditions, the combination of an attractive card and the running of the Duraugo Selling Stakes attracting one of the largest half-holiday throngs of the season. Augelus. from the stable of II. R. Brandt, was a topheavy favorite and was returned the victor in the easiest fashion. He was the only favorite to score. , The first race served to introduce a probable star from the stable of I. II. AVheatcroft in King Broomstick. The colt was far from racing condition, but made a creditable showing, finishing well up after having met with coitsidera"ble interference Jn the early running. He is a handsome looking youngster and -when in condition will doubtlessly give a good account of himself.
