NOTES OF THE TURF. Olambala is reported to have wintered exceedingly well. The two-year-old winners of 1911 number 80 to date, out of 2S0 starters. Sixty-nine of these won during January and February. Jockey C. IT. Shilling has reported to S. C. nil-dreth at Sheepshead Bay. He will help in the education of the Hildrcth two-year-olds, of which W. H. Snyder is In charge. The Prix Chimere, a hurdle handicap of , distance one mile, seven aud a half furlongs, was run at Autcuil. France, yesterday, and was won by J. E. Wideners Petropolls III. The same owners Datura finished second in the Prix Persano, hurdle, for 4-year-olds, , distance one mile, seven and a half furlongs.
