PREMIER began slowly, but gained steadily i-iid also finished with a rush, but swerved "over to the iuside in the final furlong and was cut oft, then had to he pulled out and could not get up. FORT WORTH was much used Hi racing DARLING into defeat and tired in the final drive. DARLING set the early pace and held on gamely to the end: OLD BOY closed it big gap and finished close up. TOM HOLLAND ran in close pursuit from tho start, but was in close quarters on the inside most of the way. LOUIS .REIL closed a gap and finished fast. ENGLISH ESTHER ran a good race from a bad start. CAPTAIN SWANS ON finished with a "rush and would probably have won in. -a-few more strides. ST.. JOSEPH set the early pace, but quit badly aft?r entering thy homestretch, GOLD DUST ran well. SHAPPALR quit and his race should be thrown out.
