Club. In the opinion of jockey George Archibald, Presumption was one of the best two-year-olds developed at Oakland last winter. Presumption is a bay gelding by Golden Maxim Proud Duchess and is owned by J. McMninis. Clarence Nichols, owner of several horsqs. trained by Charles Casey on the Pacific coast last winter, will return to New York this yveck from the Bahamas, where he spent the past mouth. Mr. Nichols will see the racing at Norfolk. John Powers has Donald Macdonald. Maltble, Top Note and Anna Casse in training at Gravcscnd. lie will race at Pimlico and then go to Canada. He will shortly take up Louis Martincs Grasinere, ybieh horse has been turned out in Connecticut.
