PENSACOLA RESULTS UNSATISFACTORY. Pensacola, Fla., April 0. To the critically inclined, todays raeiug was decidedly unsatisfactory. Because of a heavy plunge on Chanatc in the fourth race that forced her odds down from C to 1 to " to 2. the judges warned several riders to do their best. Chanate was beaten by Bright Maiden, which had drifted in the betting from even money to 5 to 2. The owner of Clianatc and jockey Davenport are slated for a session with the judges tomorrow to explain Chanates previous showing. Because of withdrawals the management deemed it best to declare the fifth race off and as none was substituted only five races were decided. This will also be the offering in future, as the crowds seldom eomu out to the track for the first race.
