LEXINGTON COURSE OPENED FOR WORK. Lexington, Ky.. April 10. -Superintendent Ross opened the mile track for horses this morning, but the going was muddy and here was nothing out of the ordinary in the work. Racing Secretary Shelley opened his ollice in the clubhouse today. E. R. Bradley lias given trainer William Hurley six mouths vacation with pay and Manager Clin Ilammon of he Idle Hour Farm today took cliargo of the Bradley string. He will train through the Kentucky season. Helmet and Love-Not were sent to the farm today. The latter is to be mated with Cuiiard and will then go back into training. Mode Nicoll says it will be Impossible to save Saraband. She developed pneumonia today. Jockey AVarreu arrived today. He will ride as a free lauce. J. L. Ross wired from Norfolk for stalls for six horses. Fletcher Drivers Kentucky Oaks winner, FloreaJ. today foaled a chestnut colt by the triple Derby winner, Moeliek.
