WALDO AGAIN TRAINING SATISFACTORILY. Lexington, Ky.. April 20. There were no fast moves at the Kentucky Association track this morning, the main course being closed because of its muddy condition. Such horses as were out galloped over the sand track in slow time. The track is drying out and if no more i-ain comes, it will lie good by Saturday. C. L. Harrison, owner of AValdo, arrived from New York this morning and had a look at Waldo, his four-year-old son of Planudes. He was delighted with his appearance and smiled with satisfaction when trainer Jack Baker told him Waldo had breezed a quarter in 20 Tuesday and that he felt certain lie would stand training. Woodford Clay arrived from Florida today. His horses will come over from Louisville Monday in charge of trainer French Rrooks. Tlie liook for the meeting -was distributed among the horsemen here today. It met with general approval. Tradition has twins, a colt and a filly, by Watercress, at J. B. Haggins Elmendorf Farm. James K. Keenes Futurity winner. Musket te, lias been mated with Hippodrome at Castleton Stud. Charles H. Hughes two-year-old, Wolfs Baths, is now in Jack Bakers striDg.
