The last named meeting is scheduled to close Saturday, September 9 and the, Idaho meeting will open the following Monday, Septemler 11. By -such an arrangement the new association will get a better class of horses than otherwise. The meeting will re-open Monday, October 0 and continue two weeks in October, closing about October 21. If the weather is favorable it may be prolonged. Fifteen teams are now at work grading the track site. The lumber for the high fence is on the ground and most of the post-holes have lieen dug. The entire field will beencloscd. It is planned to have a grandstand to seat about 5,000, with plenty of room for additions at each end. Stalls for 400 horses will be built at once and more can be added later, if necessary. A contract has been let for a concrete floor under the grandstand and extending to the fence for the betting ring.
