NOTES OF THE TURF. The Latonia management expects to have a record-breaking crowd on Derby Day. which this year will fall on a Saturday. It is planned to run excursions from the big towns within four hours ride of the track. The Prix Noailles produce stakes, for thref year-olds at one mile and a half, was run Sunday at Longcliamps, France, and won by Frank J. Goulds Combourg. The stake this year was worth 4,400. In the Prix dAuteuil. a handicap at a mile and a furlong, Charles Ilizers Padone ran second. Horsemen at Pimlico and the Long- Island tracks have received information that there will be favorable racing legislation at Albany in tlie near futurt . They have been advised to make no arrangements to ship their stables to Canada, Kentuckv and the far west. As a result there- is a general feeling of renewed hope. New York Sun.
