Bezant, imported last fall, and the good mare Bouquet, are unfortunately on the doubtful list, but even if these are absentees the president of the Ontario Jockey Club has a strong stable this season. Jockey Phil Musgrave was in Toronto yesterday on his way to Waterloo. He has his license this year from the .Tockev Club. Xew York, and says that all his difficulties in Florida were straightened out at the conclusion of the Jacksonville season. The four-mile race which will be run in Kentucky this fall is attracting the attention of horsemen all over the continent, and already two Canadian owners have expressed an intention of being represented in this interesting event. -Mr. Dymeiit, with Chief Kee, and Air. Davies, with Fair Annie, have an eye on the gold cup and the distinction that will accrue to the winner.
