DR. GARDNER IN THE STUD. Now York. May 4. Dr. Gardner, winner of the Excelsior Handicap at Jamaica in 1907 and other stakes of importance in the colors of Senator T. D. Sullivan, is turned ont at Col. William Lanahaus Blenheim Farm near Baltimore. Senator Sullivan presented the son of Bannockburn Uarda to Mortimer Lynch, who will mate the horse with suitable mares. Dr. Gardner was bred bv Barney Sehreiber. who sold him to Senator Sullivan for 5,000. He was a horse of robust constitution and perfect action. Ho raced with distinction on the Pacific coast "and also on the metropolitan tracks, capturing many handicaps in all sorts of going.
