The latter ran a good race and finished fast and gamely. DOODLE DANDY closed a big gap in the last quarter. WOOD DOVE, probably short, set a fast pace, but tired in the final drive. The latter moved up gamely while rounding the last turn, but tired after getting oh terms with the leaden KOSE QUEEN began slowly and lacked speed in the early running, but finished fast, and probably was short. The latter ran forwardly and gamely all the- way. but tired iu the final drive. MASON finished fast and close up. GERMAN SILVER showed speed, but failed to stay.
