STAKES FOR THE SPOKANE MEETING. The new racing organization of the northwest, the Coeur. dAlenc Fair and Racing Association, ,that is rapidly constructing an up-to-date racing plant In Idaho close to the lively city of Spokane, tenders horsemen a list of stakes that are worthy of consideration and patronage. An advance notice appeared in Sundays advertising department of Daily Racing Form. No date of closing is announced, but it will be made public in duo time. The events are seven iu number and are1 all on the guaranteed value system. The dates set for their running and pther particulars are as follows: September 11. The Inauguration Stakes, value ,000, three-year-olds and over; 3-4 mile. September 14 The Inland Empire Railway Handicap, value ,000, three-year-olds and over; one mile. September 23 The Juvenile Stakes, value ,000, two-year-olds; 5-S mile. September 30 The Elks Handicap, value ,000, three-year-olds and over: 1 1-S miles. October 14 The Speed Handicap, value ,000, all ages; 5-S mile. October 21 The Lake City Derby, value ,000, three-year-olds; 1 1-S miles. October 2S The Press Selling Stakes, value ,000, all ages; 7-S mile.
