FAVORITES SCORE AT BUTTE, Butte. Mont., July 20. A handicap over the Futurity Course, which numbered among its contestants the best of the sprinting division here, and a distance race at one and an eighth miles, were tho features of this afternoons racing, which attracted a tine attendance. Speculation was brisk and was profitable to the public, as four favorites scored. Myles OConnell, repeated his Lagoon successes in tho handicap by winning handily after a spirited brush in the stretch with Copportown, which finished with a rush after swerving to the rail under punishment, which circumstance probably cost hlrnj the race.
