EL PERFECTO took the lead on the turn and appeared the winner in the stretch, but tired in a hard drive. PLACIDE rati well and made a game, but tiring, finish. ROYAL STONE only ran fairly Well. THISTLE ROSE rushed to the front at once and, setting the pace all the way. stood a drive well and outgamed THREE LINKS. The latter ran a good, game race throughout. GEMMELL went into the lead at once and won all the Avay, was eased up prematurely and his rider drew a fine for almost overlooking MUFF and being nearly caught napping. MUFF closed a big gap and finished fast and gamely. HIDDEN HAND showed speed, but tired fast in the final furlong. SUSAN F. and ROBERTA showed early speed, but tired.
