PROPOSE WINTER MEETING AT CHARLESTON. New York, July 20. F. J. Pons, William F. Sehulte and Augustus Miller have arrived in New York to discuss a proposed winter meeting at Charleston, S. C, with August Belmont. A new racing association has been formed In Charleston which proposes to hold a winter meeting of from seventy-five to ninety days, beginning next December. So far as non-interference with the sport is concerned iu that state, that much is assured.
