ANSWERS TO QUERIES. V. L. J., Pittsburg, Pa. The bet on Campeon was a draw. Jake S.. Chicago. The place bet on Octopus in race 97247 won. A. G. W.. Buffalo, N. Y. The bet on Topland was a draw. Bets do not follow a liorse to another raco than the one on which made. - A. J., Cleveland, O. The bet was void as to the Hogan and Keeno entry because no place price was laid against it and stood as the others. R. D., Danville, 111., and others. A straight bet on Waterway won at the straight price at the track. So far as the betting was concerned, Expansionists had no standing whatever. Bets were paid at the track on Waterway straight and place, show out: Octopus place and show and Dr. Koch show. Thia governs elsewhere.
