NOTES OF THE TURF. W. K. Vandcrbilts Belfast finished third In the Prix Carlne of 2,000 francs at Tremblay in France Wednesday. Mr. Vandcrbilts Rainoire, ridden by ONeill, won the Prix Bougie of 4,000 francs. There will be a ninetcen-days meeting at Muskogee. Okla.. beginning August 5. E. C. Smith will preside and Arthur McKnight will do the starting. After that there will Imj fair meetings in Kansas and Oklahoma, which will afford the horses now in tlie southwest opportunities for racing throughout he fall.
