SELECTION OF DATES DEFERRED. Lexington, Ky., August 7. The Kentucky State Racing Commission did not meet today. It devel-oied that Chairman Clay did not issue a call and that the report to that effect grew out of thu call or President Catesby Woodford for a meeting of the Kentucky Association directors which was held this morning. Action, however, on racing dates and other matters was deferred until Thursday "next when the directors have asked Messrs. John Ilach-lnelster of Latouia and Matt J. WIuu of Louisyille to be present.
