DUFFERIN HAS ITS BIGGEST CROWD. Toronto, Out.. August 7. The civic holiday brought out the largest crowd that ever was present at Dufferin Park. The crowd could not pick the winners, but three good things were put over, including Pony Girl In the two-year old race, Dolly Bultman in the seventh and Brevita In the closing dash. Jockey White was forbidden to ride other than for his contract employer for the rest of the meeting for cutting across in front of Golilferu in the second race. D. Hammond was also lined 5 for running Vanen without blinkers without permission from the judges.
