SPOKANE STAKES FILL SATISFACTORILY. Attractive List of Entries Received for Inaugural Meeting at New Idaho Track. Spokane, Wash., August 19. Two hundred and fifty-live entries have been received for the seven stakes to lie decided during the thirty-six days meeting of the Coetir dAlene Fair and Racing Association which starts at Alan, Idaho, near Coetir dAlene, September 11. The linal stake of the meeting, the ,000 Idaho Selling Stakes, boasts of the largest entry list, fifty-two being entered for the "getaway" feature on October 2S, the last day of the meeting. The Speed Handicap, ,000 sprint scheduled for October 12, tails the list with twenty-seven entries, while the Lake City Derby, a ,000 event at a mile and one-eighth, has thirty-four entries. With the meeting three weeks off fifty horses are already quartered at the Lake City track, working out in preparation for the opening.
