VIMUR ran a good race. LAAVN began badly, but made up ground in the final sixteenth. FLEETING FASHION was always outrun. MASALO ran a good three furlongs and then quit badly. ROSAMO, suddenly improved, was much better ridden than usual today and kept next to the rail and. slipping through on the "last turn, moved over and, after bumping SILVER STOCKING badly, drew clear and won in a canter. PASSENGER closed a gap and finished very fast. SILAER STOCKING was running well on the outside, hut tired badly when bumped by ROSAMO. MAXING and WANEU were cut off while rounding tlie turn for home and both fell out of the race at once. . ENDY-MION II. ran in the rear, as usual, until well into the backstretch, where he begad to move up to the leaders and, passing them with a rush in the final sixteenth, won easing up. MEADOAV appeared a bit sore, but kept right up to the front and went wide when entering the homestretch, carrying ENDYMION II. with her, but made a game finish and outstayed BIG STICK for second place. The latter set a fast pace for a mile and tired in the final drive. AVHITE AVOOL was outpaced, but ran a good race and finished resolutely. Overweights White Wool, 5 pounds.
