ENDYMION II. AGAIN BEATS MEADOW. Conclusively Clinches His Claim to Be Regarded as Best Horse Racing at Butte. Butte, Mont., August 19. The .last half-holiday of the racing season bere attracted an attendance of huge dimensions, the meeting of Endymlou II. and Meadow in the handicap at one mile and seventy .raids, in which Meadow was in receipt of weight for the first time here, being the magnet drawing one of the most representative throngs ever seen at the local track. Endymion II. again demonstrated his right to be considered the best horse ever seen here by winning in an easy manner. Incidentally he lowered the track record by one-fifth of a second. Jockey Albert Walsh was lined 50 by the judges for foul riding in the second race. He bumped into Silver Stocking in the stretch racing, which matcri-. ally affected her chances. The improvement shown in the running of Rosamo, which made a most indifferent showing the previous time out with W. Fischer in the saddle, so astonished the judges than an investigation is under way which will in all probability result in the refusal of the further entry of the horse or the suspension of Fischer, whose riding here has excited unfavorable comment.
