Flying Pearl, as usual, broke slowly and made up some ground. Jockeys Small and Donovan divided the riding honors, each riding two winners out of four chances. Sir Baria, one of the choices for the third race, broke down. Tomorrow the feature attraction will be a race for gentlemen riders. There are six horses carded to go in it and all are to be ridden by local business men.
