MANY GOOD JUMPERS AT "WINDSOR. Detroit, Mich., August 23. There is an exceedingly large band of steeplechasers stabled at Windsor to take part in the races through the field next week. With tho arrivals from Hamilton yesterday thirty of the best fencers in the country are on hand to participate in the sport. Ticket of Leave, Lizzie Flat, Vilhalla, Merry Man and Highbridge, all recent winners over the jumps, are among the fencing contingent across the river. Among other well-known steeplechasers there are: S. C. Hildreths The Welkin and Dinna Ken; Doctor Koch, High Hat, Doctor Heard, the frequent winner St. Abe, Trudo, Racebrook and Andrew Summers. The steeplechase joekevs who have come to ride these performers are: F. Williams. Tuckey, McAfee. Lucas; Hutton, Simpson, Beamish. Boyle. Dupee, Pemberton, Saffcl, Dayton. Chappell and Booth. There will be six races over the jumps at Windsor next week, including the Walkerville Stakes over the full course of about two miles and a half. 1 i .
