GOSSIP FROM "BLUE GRASS REGION. Lexington, Ky., September 11. The price of daily badges for the rates of the Kentucky Associations fall meeting, which opens next Thursday, lias been raised from to .i0 for men and from 50 cents to for women. Season badges, however, good for all privileges during the nine days, are being sold at 0 for men and for women. The price of the day badges is now the same as is charged at Louisville and Latonia. Rain fell heavily yesterday afternoon and the track was heavy today as a result. Thei E. R. Bradley string, in charge of trainer Cliff Harmon, came in from Idle Hour Farm yesterday. Ring Superintendent Eugene Elrod arrived today from Louisville with his pari-mutuel crew to put up the dozen machines that are to be used here this fall. The horses at the Kentucky Association track this morning churned mud, the rain of yesterday making the going ankle deep. The strings of J. W. Frye, .Tamos Grillin, Lon Jones and C. C. Van Meter arrived this morning from Louisville. Henry McDaniel will be hero from Latonia with his horses tomorrow morning and the Carman string is also expected from Louisville tomorrow. The joekevs who have reported thus far are George Archibald. Carl Ganz. J. Moore, Dishman, J. Allen, J. Iatrick, B. Steele, R. Walcott and C. Eugene Elrod arrived tonight from Louisville. Bon llinklo and Ed Trainor of the pari-mutuel office force are expected tomorrow. Walter Grater has turned over to J. II. Nichols Golden Egg, Nancy Grater and Tom Ott. all the property of George B. Ott, and J. C. Milam has John Furlong, the property of James C. Rogers. John Rodegap is up against some tough luck. Four of the eight horses in his string are sick and sliey are the ones he expected to deliver the goods for him this fall. Hazel Burke is among the sick fines.
