AUSPICIOUS OPENING AT COEUR DALENE. Coour dAlene, Idaho, September 11. If a large attendance, good, formrul racing and perfect weather is any criterion, the now Coeur dAleue racing venture is bound to be a huge success. Todays attendance was given out by the management as being in excess of 0,000., Elizabeth Harwood. just off the cars from Anaconda, won the Inagurual Selling Stakes with ease. Pride of I.ismore acted as pacemaker, but weakened in the final furlong. Dr. Dougherty finished fast and nipped third money from Myles OConnell in the last stride. Everything went off with clocklike regularity and everybody npicared well satisfied with the days sport. James Neil bid up Muff, winner of the fifth race, from 00 to 0O, but she was retained by W.; B. Carson. Jockey Lindhnrst was indefinitely suspended for striking Whiddon over the head with his whip in the stretch during the ruuning of the last race.
