YEARLINGS AVERAGE 50 EACH. Auction Sale Concluded at Lexington Product of Nursery Stud Sell Well. Lexington, Ky., September 22. The Kentucky Sales Companys auction of thoroughbred yearlings was concluded last night, when sixty-two head from the Nursery Stud of August Belmont aud the Fouu-tainblue Stud of Cbinn and Forsythe went under the hammer for an aggregate of 9,SS5. an average of 20. The total number disposed of during the entire sale was 282 head for 0,510, an average of 50. It was the seventeen head from the Nur-serv Stud that carried up the figures last night. They aggregated 0,450, an average of 1911.sh15. The top price was ,000 paid by B. L. Belt, of New York, for the half-brother to Phantom and Winning Widow. The same gentleman, who is identified witli the American Tobacco Company, paid ,775 for the half-brother to For Luck aud Good Luck. The next highest price of the evening was ,100 paid by R. Colston for the brother to Fountainbluc. In these three colts the contending bidder was Andrew Robinson, of Melbourne, Australia. Mrs. A. Browne, who figured as a purchaser last night, is the wire of Grant Hugh Browne, or Brownlcigh Park, N. Y. D. W. Scott. "who was a buyer of several, is sheriff of Fayette County.
