SPALDING, away fast and showing the most early speed, sot the pace to the stretch and, after being passed, came again and outgamed CROW ROBB through the final sixteenth. CROW ROBB ran an unexi peetedly good race and made a game finish. PHIL MOHR ran well and was forced to a hard drive in the final furlong to outstay JEANNE DARC for third place. BREDWELL, after being saved in the early running, moved up with a rush in the stretch and drew out decisively in the last sixteenth. NANCY GRATER was in close quarters most of the way, but ran well and finished gamely. ALOOHA, prominent from the start, was going fast and gamely when she was interfered with by FAAVN in the last lurlong, costing her second place.
