THE CESAREWITCH WON BY WILLONYX. London. Eng.. October 11. At the Newmarket Second October meeting today the Cosarewitch Handicap of 25 sovereigns each with 000 sovereigns added, for three-vear-olds and upward, at two and a quarter miles, was won by C. E. Howards four-year-old brown colt, Willonyx, by William the Third Trib-onyx. carrying the top weight of 131 pounds. Lord Oadogans three-year-old bay filly Martingale II.. by Martagon Simoom. 10" ponnds, was second and AV. As tors four-year-old chestnut colt Mirador. by Marco- -Semitone. WA pounds, was third. Sixteen hors-s started with Mirador the favorite. A plate of 100 sovereigns for two-year-olds at live furlongs was won by H. P. Whitneys black colt Kaiidrian, by Burgomasier Sandrla, Struy finishing, second and Rubkoud third. Twelve ran.
