CALTPII followed the pacemakers close up to the stretch turn, then moved up with a rush and drew, away into an easy lead. ETON BLUE dropped far back in the early running, but closed a big gap and finished fast and gamely. MISS JOE was badly outpaced In the early running, but came fast through the stretch. SHILLALAH showed much early speed and set a fast pace to the stretch, then tired. HENOTIC ran a good live furlongs. MONKEY ran poorly. CHILTON SQUAW set the early pace and ran well, but tired badly In the homestretch and just lasted long enough to outstay RACEWELL for second place. The latter was bumped about in the first half and ran a game race. IDLE MICHAEL was cut off at the start and crowded out, then closed a big gap into a close up fourth.
