IDLEWEISS beat the gate, but was taken back and saved to the stretch, then moved into the lead in the last sixteenth and won in a canter. MUFF showed the most early speed, set the pace to tln last furlong, but tired when cliallenged by the winner. MISS JONAH finished fast and caught PLUVIOUS in the final strides and outstayed him for third place and ran a good race at the weights. The winner, entered for , was bid up to ,105 and bought in. LOCHIEL showed much speed and took the lead after racing MONTY FOX into defeat, bur tired as if short in the final drive. ALDRIAN dropped far back at the start, then closed a big gap and finished with a great- burst of speed through the stretch. MAltJORIE A. was going fast at the end. The latter ran well, but was much used in following STICKER closely and tired. ILMA could not keep up and ran a poor race. DONALD MACDONALD was always outrun and seems in roor form.
