EX-OALIBUR stole a big lead on the first turn and, although he lost ground by a wide turn into the stretch, lasted long enough to outstay GIFT. The latter ran forwardly and, coming fast tlirough the stretch, would have won in a few more strides. TICK TACK ran in closest prusuit to the stretch and tired in the final drive. FIRST AID finished gamely and close up. BLACK SILK closed up some ground in the last quarter. Scratched 0S924 Little Erne. 112. Overweights Tick Tack. 2 pounds. EFFICIENCY followed the pacemaker in cjosest pursuit to the streich, then moved into the lead, but was doing her best all the way to the finish. NELLO was speedy, but tired from setting the pace, then came again and made .1 game and fast finish. CAMELLIA ran a good race from a poor beginning and might have won bad she been away with the leader. ELMA ran much below her true form. PLIANT followed the leaders closely to the stretch and moved Into the lead in the last sixteenth, but tired and lKired over at the end against AFFABLE. The latter closed a big cap and finished fast when bumped 1 md forced CLOUD CHIEFS rider to pull up short in the final strides. CLOUD CHIEF ran a good race and I lock the lead in the stretch, but was in tight quarters in the last sixteenth. A claim of foul was not allowed DUVAL had a rough race for the first half mile and could never get through until In the stretch. LAD OF LANGDEN, under restraint all the way, took the lead in the final furlong and won hard held. BRE-VITE showed the most early speed and made the pace to midway of the stretch before tiring. SERVI-CENCE ran well and, saving ground on the stretcli turn, outstayed DOLLY BULTMAN at the finish. The latter finished gamely. NADZU ran poorly throughout. DAY BELL showed speed.
