BOUNCING LASS, away forwardly, took the lead at once and won all the way with speed in reserve. GOLD MINE was iu closest pursuit nearly throughout and held on well In the closing drive. MADAM PHELPS suffered some from interference in the early running, but came fast in the stretch. LUCKY WISH tired alter going a good half mile. ELSIE HERNDON went fairly well. LIGHT O M LIKE was saved in the- early running, but came fast in the last furlong and wore MACK B. EUBANKS down for second place. The latter ran well throughout and finished gamely. AL MULLER was in forward pursuit of COMPTON all the way and might have won but for boring out a trifle in the stretch. COMPTON showed much speed and set a fast early pace, hut tired near the end. SEA CLIFF was gaining fast at the end. STAlt BLUB ran well and "would have been dangerous but for a poor beginning and suffering from interference. Scratched 9S9S3 Turret, 112. SWANNANOA was shuffled back on the first turn and failed to get fully into her stride until in the stretch, then unavailingiy came on fast. HOUSEMAID quit after running a fast three-quarters. TOM BIG-BEE held on gamely and outstayed MUD SILL in the stretch drive. The latter ran in improving form. Silt CLEGES quit badly after making the pace to the stretch. The latter began slowly, but came with a rush through the stretch. HAZEL BURKE ran in closest pursuit to the stretch and tired in the last quarter. EMILY LEE showed speed, but quit badly. STAR ORYAN was well up in tin: early running.
