DETECT made a game effort throughout, but tired slightly near the end. AGNES MAY ran forwardly all the way. MISS DETROIT moved up menacingly on the stretch turn, but tired in the last furlong. MADAM PHELPS, favored by the soft track, was given a hustling ride and, after following the early pacemaker closely, drew away in the stretch to win easing up. ANDRAJOSA show-ed the most early speed and stayed fairly well in the final drive. BITTRA, away in a tangle, ran a good race and finished fast. SYRINOA tired badly after going a good half mile.
