CHAUMERE. seemingly favored by the going, took the lead quickly and, keeping it throughout, held on well in the final drive, although swerving. ZIM was always in closest pursuit and might have won but for meeting-interference in the stretch. TOM KING ran well and was In close quarters for the first tliree furlongs. DYNAMITE was gaining at the finish. GANADORE was forced to go wide all the way and tired In the stretch. Only place and show mutuels were sold on FILLIBEG. BARR ran gamely and finished well. HARCOURT finished fast. LOTTA CREED began poorly and finished going well.
