BALLOT TO GO ABROAD. Lexington. Ky.. November 1. Acting upon telegraphic instructions from James R. Keenes New-York office. Maj. F. A. Daingerfield. the manager of Castleton Stud, shipped the celebrated race horse. Ballot, now seven years old. by Voter Cerlto. to New York this morning. Ballot is to board a boat leaving New York Saturday, but his destination is unknown here. In September the report that ho had been sold to the Germans for a largo sum was widely circulated, but it has been since claimed in England that this report was Incorrect and that Ballots future home would bo found on British soil. Ballot is probably the best male descendant of Hermit now alive and it is quite well known that England sadly requires such a horse.
