FORKFUL RACING AT MARLBORO. Washington, D. C, November 10. This was Ladies Day at the Marlboro track and, the weather being pleasant, members of the fair sex turned out in large numbers. The track was again heavy for the races today, due to more rain having fallen last night, but there were few withdrawals and the fields averaged well in respect to size. Form students fared better today than in the last few days, as three favorites and a second choice were among tho winners. W. B. Carson took two purses with Tippy and Quality Street, both of which were favorites. This is the second time this week he has accomplished such a feat. His rider. Hopkins, was also again conspicuous, as he not only piloted Tippy and Quality Street, but he also won with Joe Rose. Blanche Frances was tho longest prico winner of the day. She just got up in time to win the opening race by a nose at 10 to 1. The conditions for the races that will be decided next week were made public today. There will be from five to nine races cacli day.
