MOLTKE was a forward contender for the entire race and held on well in the final drive. OAKLEY .set the early pace, but was knocked back and tired in the Inst furlong. MONTAGNIE ran well, but was forced wide into the stretch. JOE ROSE tired after going a good half mile. CHIPPEWAYAN showed a good Hash of speed in the middle quarter. ELIZABETH HARWOOD set a last early pace, but Avas tiring in the stretch drive. LORD WELLS ran well and showed Improvement. BERKELEY ran poorly and can do better.
