HORSES THAT CONTRIBUTED TO EARNINGS OF THE SECOND AMERICAN STABLE IN THE WINNING LIST FOR 1911 v Campaigning quite a number of useful horses, the Memphis owner, John AV. Schorr, now enjoys the satisfaction of ranking second in the list of American owners of 1911. Star Charter was bis chief winner and. when at his best, a three-year-old of considerable merit, a stayer and gifted with a fair measure of speed. Aylnier was a good horse early in the year, but trained off and was not of much accouut in the autumn months. Still he more than paid his share of the stable bills. In Froglegs he iossesses a two-year-old of real promise, but an uncouthlv named one. He was at his lest in the fall racing, generally held to be an encouraging Indication of excellence as n three-year-old. John Reaction did not always race con-sh-Hntlv, but was a hard horse to beat when the going was heavy.
