CHARLESTON STALLS ARE FILLING. Charleston, S. C, December 20. About five hundred horses are at present quartered in the stables of the Charleston Fair and Racing Association at Palmetto Park. Additional thoroughbreds are coming iu daily from all parts of the country. It Is believed that not less than 1.000 horses will be here for the opening of the winter meeting on January 10, 1912. Three carloads of horses arrived yesterday from Norfolk. They are the property of R. T. Wllspn. president of the Saratoga Association, and Thomas Clyde, of the Clyde Steamship Company. Another carload arrived from Latonia, Ky., the property o J. S. Ward.
