SCHREIBERS SHIPMENT APPRECIATED. Lexington, Ky., December 2G. Joachim Amor, who. with his brother, is among the foremost of Mexican breeders of the thoroughbred, writes from Mexico City as follows: "B. Schroibors big shipment of mares and yearlings met with a good deal of appreciation here, much more than could have been expected in the face of the unsettled state of the political situation. I came to an arrangement with Mr. Sclireiber whereby old Sorcerer will henceforth stand at this farm. The old horse is in wonderful shape -and this climate is just the thing for him. AVe also secured on a partnership arrangement the broodmares Ladv Char-lot, by Top Gallant Strathmaid: Lady Churchill, by Balgowan Yankee Heiress; Belle Ward, by Luke Blackburn Maud Ward; Free Pass, by Apache My Badge, and Yankee Land, by Deutschland Yankee Heiress. This one is iu foal to Sain; a dashing bit of inbreeding this."
