Start good. Won easily; second and third driving. IIUDAS SISTER, away well, was hustled into the lead in the first quarter and easily held the ethers safe the remainder of the way. HANNAH LOUISE, from a slow beginning, moved up with a rush into second place, but was tiring at the end. SIR MINCEMEAT saved ground all the way and held on well iu the final drive. OSSABAR was hard ridden for the entire race and gained steadily, but was forced out to overhaul I.LN SAND in the last few strides. BEN SAND showed much speed in pacemaking and only tired in the last few strides. CASQUE only ran fairly well and can do much better. FORCE set the early pace, but tired in the stretch drive. SAM BALL was taken back repeatedly in the lirst turn or the course and tired fast in the stretch. DR. HEARD wore UNCLE OLIVER down in the last quarter tor third place. OUR NPGGET was away forwardly and kept well up for the first half, then wore EMPEROR WILLIAM down and got up to win in the closing strides. EMPEROR WILLIAM was away slowly, but took the lead quickly and showed a high Hight of speed for the first half, then tired near the end. BELLE CLEM ran well and showed improvement. WARNER GRISWELL was outpaced for the first three furlongs, but moved up fast in the stretch and. wearing I. II. BARR down, won going away. The latter showed tho most early speed and set the pace witli a big lead, but tired in the last furlong of a good race. WOODLANDER began slowly and was outpaced early, but moved up fast in the stretch. HELEN SCOTT only ran fairly well. NEW STAR ran away three quarters before the start, then ran in closest pursuit to the stretch and tired badly. Overweights Leon P.. 2 pounds; New Star. 2; Woodlander. 4. . DEDUCTION moved into the lead with a rush soon after the start and, keeping it, held LEIALOIIA safe through the stretch. LEIALOIIA ran prominently and gamely all the way, but was unable to get to the winner. LESBOS moved up fast on the stretcli turn and was a close up third. CHARLIE OBRIEN showed speed, but tired badly: LUCKY WISH might have ran better but for her rider losing a stirrup. Scratched 997S3 Rcine Margot. 97; 99SS5 Mujer, 92.
