ANOTHER , JOCKEY- RULED OFF. Juarez Officials Continue Their Crusade in Behalf of Clean Racing Form at Discount. El Paso, Tex., December 00. Not a single favorite won this afternoon, form being at an enormous discount. One race in particular, the second, bore such ail aspect that it was a long time before the otlicial sign was hung out. R. Hoffman, who rode Meddling Hannah, gave such a wlerd exhibition that the stewards ruled him off almost immediately. The race in question was won by Incision from Frank G. Hogan and Meddling Hannah. Hoffman got the latter away poorly from the post and then never made a move with her at any time. The boy, when questioned, claimed that she balked at the barrier, a statement which was not borne out by starter Cassidy. He also claimed that after that she was trying to run out all the way something she had never been known to do before. His excuses were so lame and unsatisfactory that he was immediately warned off the course. The stewards also interviewed W. G. Yanko, the owner of Incision. Mr. Yauke gave Ids word that he did not wager a penny on his horse and had no explanation to offer other than he was a bad horse and unreliable. After looking the matter over carefully, the stewards ordered the entry of the horse refused in future on the ground of inconsistent performances. Jockey Carter was suspended for ten days by the starter for misbehavior at the post in the third race. Tony Lecalzl is the latest arrival here. W. J. Grist disposed of thirteen head of yearlings at auction in the paddock today. They averaged 75 per head. The best price brought was 325 for a filly by Albula Welsh Girl, W. II. Senerlay of Chicago being the purchaser. D. S. Fountain purchased Juan just prior to the running f the first race T. B. Moots wired from his Arizona ranch for stall room for his string of horses, which will bo shipped here within the next few days. Jockey G. Bezanson will come here with this stable.
