MEDDLING HANNAH was off badly and poorly ridden, her rider urging her but little in the early running and sending her fast when of no avail. LYTE KNIGHT ran prominently to the stretch and tired. BEN UNCAS worked his way up from a long way back and finished gamely. JIM Mc showed much speed, but failed to .slay. SAM BARBER made a very tame showing. FIGENT ran in closest and game pursuit all the way and, in a fast finish, would have won in another stride. MIAMI was always a prominent contender, but tired in the liual drive. L. M. ECKERT finished resolutely and close up. LOTTA CREED quit badly. Overweights Jack Laxson, 1 pound.
